Formerly know as “The Self-guided Studio,” The Media Space is an easy-to-operate, all-inclusive space that’s perfect for interviews, training videos, social media videos and teleprompted scripts. It comes fully equipped with professional lighting, audio, teleprompter and camera controlled by a user-friendly application. From the StudioME application, you can quickly change your backdrop, set the lighting, run the teleprompter and record video at the touch of a button. You have the option of using a white, green screen or black backdrop. This studio has its own spacious dressing room and a variety of add-on options.

Recommended Skill Levels – All Skill LevelsThis self-guided studio requires no previous media production knowledge and takes less than 10 minutes of training to operate.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Street parking is available all around the building and their are paid lots behind the building. See figure below.
Q: Will someone be there to assist me?
A: If it is your first time in our studio, the studio manager provide you with a brief tour of the room and help you with specific questions. If you think you will need additional help, we recommend booking a production assistant from the add-on items.
Q: How early should I arrive?
A: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your reservation.
Q: What sort of grip equipment is available to use in the studios?
A: We will have a variety of standard grip equipment such as C-stands, clamps, apple boxes, sandbags, etc. for use. These will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Q: How do I get the footage?
A: We will dropbox you the files, or feel free to bring a USB stick or hard drive to transfer the footage.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?
A: Please refer to the Fine Print tab or view our rental agreement for more information.
Q: Will someone teach me how to work the equipment in the room?
A: Yes, the studio manager will be provide a 10 minute training session and will always be on-call for when you need additional assistance.
Q: Can someone help me with my Pre-Production?
A: While that is not a service we offer, we can refer you to a local producer that best fits your project.
Q: What kind of backdrops are available?
A: We have four colors available: green, white, gray or black.
We will retain 20% of your booking as a non-refundable fee for cancellations. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking. As a courtesy to the next booking, the studio must be clear at the end of your allotted time.
Please note that we DO NOT allow: Explicit material, sound levels over 70 decibels (we are not a music recording studio), hazardous materials, alcohol or tobacco
