The Podcast Lounge accommodates up to four in-person guests or unlimited virtual guests over Riverside, Zoom, Teams, Meet or any other virtual conference platform. Your recorded audio is delivered via digital download to your email.
PRO VIDEO RECORDING
Interested in a video podcast? The lounge comes equipped with 3 mounted cameras and operation of the equipment is easy using our DIY mode, AI mode or hiring a professional assistant. See below for more details.

The room is set up with customizability in mind. Set the LED light colors to your liking and use our shelf props or bring your own. We also have a green screen option to customize part of the background. See an example here.

AI MODE
AI mode is the first of its kind. This mode uses intelligent software to understand who is speaking and switch between camera angles in a realistic way. Just press one button to start and stop. No assistant or editing is needed and your podcast is ready to upload when finished recording.

DIY MODE
DIY mode allows an operator to easily cut between camera angles during the live recording, removing the need to edit them together later. Your podcast is ready to upload when finished recording. You can also record each of the camera angles if you’d prefer to do your own editing later on.

Recommended Skill Levels – All Skill Levels
The Podcast Lounge requires no previous media production knowledge and takes less than 10 minutes of training.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Street parking is available all around the building and their are paid lots behind the building. See figure below.
Q: Will someone be there to assist me?
A: If it is your first time in our studio, the studio manager provide you with a brief tour of the room and help you with specific questions.
Q: How early should I arrive?
A: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your reservation.
Q: How will I know when my time is up?
A: The studio manager will also provide you with a 15 minute warning. We ask that you leave the studio in the same condition that you arrived.
Q: What sort of grip equipment is available to use in the studios?
A: We will have a variety of standard grip equipment such as clamps, apple boxes, sandbags, etc. for use. These will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel my reservation?
A: Please refer to the Fine Print tab or view our rental agreement for more information.
Q: Can someone help me with my Pre-Production?
A: Yes, we have on-site Producers who can guide you through the process.

We will retain 20% of your booking as a non-refundable fee for cancellations. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking. As a courtesy to the next booking, the studio must be clear at the end of your allotted time.
Please note that we DO NOT allow: Explicit material, sound levels over 70 decibels (we are not a music recording studio), hazardous materials, alcohol or tobacco.

You can host remote guests via Riverside.fm, Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, and more using your own account or ours. Just be sure to reach out to us so we can send an invite link to your guest prior to the booking. Below is a video with some helpful tips for your guests to look their best on camera.
