Description

The black PocketWizard Plus III Transceiver is a highly versatile and robust radio trigger that is compatible with all prior FCC-version PocketWizards, as well as most flash and camera systems. Featuring 32 channels to choose from, this transceiver is simple to use in even the busiest of situations. Wireless remote control is possible through the use of Quad-Zone Triggering, which allows you to manage up to 4 zones of remote PocketWizard-enabled cameras or flashes from one position. Without having to leave camera position, you can activate and deactivate groups of flashes quickly and easily. This transceiver also employ’s PocketWizard’s Auto-Sensing technology, which instantly allows your device to fluctuate from transmitter to receiver. This technology works directly in line with the Auto-Relay function for a completely remote workflow.

The efficiency of this transceiver is further extended by allowing up to 1640′ transmissions in normal mode, and nearly double with Long Range mode. High speed, continuous shooting is made possible with the High Speed Receive mode, permitting up to 14.5 fps firing at up to 1/250 sec. for focal plane shutter and 1/500 sec. for leaf shutters.

The design of the Plus III incorporates a side-view LCD screen and touch pad interface for switching between modes, zones, and settings. It connects to any camera featuring a hot shoe and is also compatible with a variety of cables for linking to lighting and other remote systems.

Q: What counts as a “day?” and when do I pickup and drop-off equipment?

A: The pickup day is the first day of your rental and you may pickup as early as 8am. You must return the item by noon following the last day of your rental.  For instance, if you select 3-day rental, picking up on Monday, then your return day will be Thursday by noon.

Q: Do you count Sundays?  

A: Yes Sundays do count as a rental day.

Q: How do I return if the drop-off day falls on a Sunday?

A: In this case, you must return the equipment Saturday by 6pm.

Q: What’s the earliest I can pick up equipment on the day of my rental?

A: We open at 8am.  If you need the equipment earlier than 8am, you must book and pickup the day before.

Q: How late can I return the equipment on the day of my return?

A: We close at 6pm.  We do not have a drop off service. If you need the equipment later than 6pm on your return day, you must also book the following day and return on that day.

Q: Why is it saying “This block cannot be booked?” when I choose a date?

A: The block cannot be booked because someone else has booked the equipment for all or part of the time you have requested.  You may also want to confirm that you have not already added the booking to your cart.

Q: Will someone teach me how to work the equipment?

A: We recommend that you view our tutorials in the resources section (you need to be a MEmber to unlock this section). If you need basic training or just have a quick question, our Studio Manager will be available to help.

Q: How do I cancel or change a booking?

A: Please call our studio manager during normal business hours to cancel or change a booking, 412-404-2868.  We may retain 20% of your booking as a non-refundable fee for cancellations.

In addition to the rental agreement on our website, you will be asked to sign a rental agreement in person, provide your address and present a valid form of identification that matches the credit card on your MEmbership.  We have rights to refuse service if you do not adhere to the guidelines as outlined in our rental agreement.Please view our rental agreement prior to checking out.

We may retain 20% of your booking as a non-refundable fee for cancellations.

We have the right to charge your credit card for any damages to the equipment.

Bookings of equipment where total value exceeds $5000 or where they are unique circumstances may require a certification of insurance and/or additional forms of identification.
