Description

The CW-3 3G-SDI Wireless Video Transmission System from IDX is able to transmit Full HD 1080p video at up to 164′ line-of-sight with no quality loss and less than 1 ms latency. It can transmit even further; up to 380′ line-of-sight (depending on conditions), but at this extended range some loss in quality may be experienced. It supports 3G- and HD-SDI video signals at up to 1080p60 with 4:2:2, 10-bit color. AC adapters are induced for the transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx), or they can be powered from a 7 to 17VDC external source, such as a video battery system with PowerTap. A 1/4″-20 adapter is included for mounting the transmitter on a camera.

Q: What counts as a “day?” and when do I pickup and drop-off equipment?

A: The pickup day is the first day of your rental and you may pickup as early as 8am. You must return the item by noon following the last day of your rental.  For instance, if you select 3-day rental, picking up on Monday, then your return day will be Thursday by noon.

Q: Do you count Sundays?  

A: Yes Sundays do count as a rental day.

Q: How do I return if the drop-off day falls on a Sunday?

A: In this case, you must return the equipment Saturday by 6pm.

Q: What’s the earliest I can pick up equipment on the day of my rental?

A: We open at 8am.  If you need the equipment earlier than 8am, you must book and pickup the day before.

Q: How late can I return the equipment on the day of my return?

A: We close at 6pm.  We do not have a drop off service. If you need the equipment later than 6pm on your return day, you must also book the following day and return on that day.

Q: Why is it saying “This block cannot be booked?” when I choose a date?

A: The block cannot be booked because someone else has booked the equipment for all or part of the time you have requested.  You may also want to confirm that you have not already added the booking to your cart.

Q: Will someone teach me how to work the equipment?

A: We recommend that you view our tutorials in the resources section (you need to be a MEmber to unlock this section). If you need basic training or just have a quick question, our Studio Manager will be available to help.

Q: How do I cancel or change a booking?

A: Please call our studio manager during normal business hours to cancel or change a booking, 412-404-2868.  We may retain 20% of your booking as a non-refundable fee for cancellations.

In addition to the rental agreement on our website, you will be asked to sign a rental agreement in person, provide your address and present a valid form of identification that matches the credit card on your MEmbership.  We have rights to refuse service if you do not adhere to the guidelines as outlined in our rental agreement.Please view our rental agreement prior to checking out.

We may retain 20% of your booking as a non-refundable fee for cancellations.

We have the right to charge your credit card for any damages to the equipment.

Bookings of equipment where total value exceeds $5000 or where they are unique circumstances may require a certification of insurance and/or additional forms of identification.
